Was born in the
villa of Zaachila, Oaxaca Mexico. He is a versatile Mexican artist who
attended primary school in the city of Mexico, the secondary, and
baccalaureate in the villa of Zaachila Oaxaca in the regional education
center in Oaxaca normal.
In 1988 he emigrated to the United States played jobs as a cook at various
restaurants four years later returned to his hometown to play in high school
teaching Zaachila., Tuxtepec Oaxaca, and San Miguel Achiutla, Tlaxiaco
Oaxaca. In the latter applies his talent as a sculptor and painter, opening
an art workshop in high school Lazaro Cardenas del rio to help children
develop their skills in the beautiful world of drawing, painting, sculpture and
carving.
His love towards art began at the age of 7 years, and my first exposure
was in Bridgeport Connecticut, followed by the central library of Oaxaca,
the gallery the Benito Juarez Autonomous University of Oaxaca. Just like in
different communities of the City of Oaxaca.
His black and white works can be seen in gouache, acrylic, graphite or dry
brush technique although we see a very colorful in his works of Magic
Realism which shows part of their culture, traditions and people of the
beautiful villages of Oaxaca.
In his role as a musician was part of the trio Zaachila in the U.S., the trio
Zaachila yesterday and today in Oaxaca and is author of a large number of
songs and poems. He was part of the dance group Didjadzaa Zaachila the
village of Oaxaca and resides in Bridgeport Connecticut United States
where he teaches children to paint, draw and play guitar.
