Please read whole posting and pass it on if you know smeone. La Sirena is looking for one or two shop assistant s with sales experience (required), to work at our Mexican folk art shop in NYC.
You will be responsible for assisting customers, help with display, cleaning, organizing, taking photos, social media and other shop duties. Please be: mature, honest, responsible, outgoing, fun, flexible, good at cleaning/ organizing, willing to learn new ways of doing things, good work ethics, once you learn the ropes be self motivated.
* Work hours are3:30-7:30 . Must be available to work some Sundays full day. * 25-40hrs a week. Work schedule can be split among 2 people. One shop assistant and one computer and shop fill in .
* Retail/Shop experience Required.
* Bi lingual, Spanish/English, required.
* Able to photograph and upload photos, create shopping pages, press release, social media. * Knowledge of Mexican folk art, culture helpful.
